Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about how we handle your data.

1. access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without giving any personal information. Whenever you call up a website, the web server merely automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer in the context of a weighing of interests. All access data is deleted at the latest seven days after the end of your visit to our website.

Hosting services by a third party provider
Within the scope of processing on our behalf, a third party provider provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope described here.

This service provider is located in a country outside the European Union for which the European Commission has determined by decision an adequate level of data protection.

2. collection and use of data for contract processing, contacting and opening a customer account

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide us with this information as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail). Mandatory fields are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data for the processing of the contract or for the processing of your contact and you cannot send the order or contact without the data. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide us with in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO for contract processing and processing your enquiries.
Insofar as you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO by deciding to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account.
After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes which are permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or by using a function in the customer account intended for this purpose.

3. data transfer

In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the ordering process, we will pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the bank commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service for the processing of payments. In some cases, the selected payment service providers may also collect this data themselves if you open an account there. In this case, you must log on to the payment service provider with your access data during the ordering process. In this respect, the data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies.

We also use an external merchandise management system for order and contract processing. The data transfer or processing that takes place in this respect is based on order processing.

We use a shipping service provider that has its headquarters in a country outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data to this company is only carried out within the scope of the necessity to fulfil the contract.

The same applies to the transfer of data to our manufacturers or wholesalers in cases where they undertake the dispatch for us (drop shipment).
Data transfer to collection agencies
In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b DSGVO, we will pass on your data to a commissioned collection company if our payment claim has not been settled despite a previous reminder. In this case, the claim will be collected directly by the collection company. In addition, the passing on of data serves to protect our legitimate interests, which outweigh our own interests, in the effective assertion or enforcement of our payment claim in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

4. e-mail newsletter

E-mail advertising with newsletter subscription
If you register for our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or data provided separately by you to send you our e-mail newsletter regularly on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and can either be done by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your e-mail address from the list of recipients unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data in a manner that goes beyond that which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

5. use of data for payment processing

Credit assessment
If we make advance payment, e.g. in the case of purchase on account, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract in accordance with Art. 22 Para. 2 lit. a DSGVO to obtain identity and credit information from service companies specialising in this field (credit agencies). For this purpose, we transmit your personal data required for a credit assessment to the following company(ies):

SCHUFA Holding AG
Cormorant Path 5
65201 Wiesbaden

Appropriate measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests will be taken into account. You have the opportunity to express your point of view and to appeal against the decision by contacting the contact point described below.

After the contract has been fully executed, your data processed for this purpose will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data in a manner that goes beyond that which is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

Identity and credit check when choosing Klarna payment services
If you choose Klarnas payment services, we ask you for your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO that we may transmit to Klarna the data necessary for the processing of the payment and an identity and credit check. In Germany, the credit agencies listed in Klarna's data protection declaration can be used for identity and credit checks.
Klarna will use the information obtained on the statistical probability of payment default for a balanced decision on the establishment, execution or termination of the contractual relationship.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact details below. This may mean that we can no longer offer you certain payment options. You may also revoke your consent to this use of your personal data at any time, also to Klarna.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Google Ads Remarketing
Through Google Ads we promote this website in Google search results and on third party websites. To this end, when you visit our website, the so-called remarketing cookie is set by Google, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you visit. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which outweigh any other interests. After the discontinuation of the purpose and the end of the use of Google Ads Remarketing by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

In this case, if you are logged in to Google while browsing our website, Google will use your information along with Google Analytics data to create and define target audience lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target groups.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider (possibly in the USA) and stored there. If you are logged in to one of the services, the providers can directly assign your visit to our website to your profile in the respective social network. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like" or "Share" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information is also published in the social network and displayed to your contacts.
